Local Musicians Donate Songs to Help the Seals
It's your music, San Diego.Unsigned San Diego artists can finally be heard. From Oceanside to San Ysidro, Carlsbad to Campo, local musicians are posting their songs for a good cause.
And best of all, you can listen for free.
Stream it, share it, just listen to what your local musicians have to say. This is San Diego's new local music community where the music is fresh, organic, and 100% homegrown. Post your thoughts on the Facebook page, interact with the artists, meet new people as you discover new music.
Looking for a great place to live in San Diego? Consider a Carlsbad apartment!
You'll find everything from demos to studio recordings, live tracks to overdubbed masterpieces. The only rule is that every artist must be a local, unsigned musician, and every musician has to be from San Diego County.
And it's all for a good cause
If you like what you hear, feel good knowing that 100% of the money earned from downloads goes towards helping keep the La Jolla seals from being kicked off the beach. In case you haven't been watching, the powerful anti-seal activists are dangerously close to getting the seals removed just so a small minority can reclaim what they say is "their" beach.
That's why local musicians have banded together and donated songs to the cause. And don't worry, we're not crazy activists, we just love seeing the seals and hate the idea of bullies getting their way.
It's our way of giving back to the city we love and sharing some of our love for music with you.
Isn't that cool? We think so. Now let's listen.
